Job Title: Homebuying Specialist (Real Estate Acquisitions)

Location: Tampa, FL, Atlanta, GA, Washington DC Metro Region (Local Market – In-Person Appointments Required)

Pay: Commission-based (typical earnings: $100,000 – $200,000 per year)

As we expand in the Tampa, FL and Atlanta, GA markets, we are seeking a motivated Homebuying Specialist to meet with homeowners, evaluate properties, and present competitive cash offers.

Our marketing team generates a steady flow of qualified seller leads, allowing our Homebuying Specialists to focus on what they do best — meeting homeowners and closing deals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced in-home sales professional looking for high income potential and a strong lead pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners at their properties to discuss selling options
  • Build rapport with sellers and identify their needs and motivations
  • Evaluate property condition and collect photos, notes, and key information
  • Analyze opportunities and present competitive cash offers
  • Negotiate terms and secure signed purchase agreements
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective sellers
  • Update CRM with appointment notes and deal status
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly sales metrics and activity goals
  • Deliver a high level of professionalism and customer service to homeowners
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and development

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of in-home sales experience required
  • Strong closing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and earn homeowner trust
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and technology tools
  • Reliable transportation for local travel to appointments
  • Coachable, competitive, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work evenings or weekends when sellers are available

Preferred Experience

  • Real estate wholesaling or investment sales
  • Acquisitions manager experience
  • Real estate license (not required)
  • Knowledge of ARV, comps, and renovation estimates
  • Construction or property evaluation experience

Compensation

  • Commission-based compensation structure
